Mahjong Connect Deluxe is one of the most challenging connect games out there. The game’s goal is for you to connect identical tiles that can have a line drawn between them. The tile arrangements in the game are complicated - some of the tiles have similar colors to other tiles, and the game challenges you by spreading out the matches.

The game has a series of 18 levels that you need to beat – each one awards you with a set amount of points for beating it, and you also receive bonus points for not using any Hints and finishing within the timer.

The timer is the real challenge

The first few levels of Mahjong Connect Deluxe aren’t as complicated, and they let you figure out how to match tiles without too much pressure. You can only connect them via horizontal or vertical lines, and they can’t turn more than 180 degrees. Once you progress through the first series of 5 or 6 levels, the real challenge starts.

The game will start giving you harder and harder tile arrangements that you will need to figure out, and if you want to achieve a high score, you’re going to need to figure them out within the short time limit.

Even if you don’t manage to beat the level within the timer, you don’t lose. You will only lose the bonus points for finishing the round before the time ends. The timer challenge is there so that the real pros at Mahjong Connect can have a worthy challenge. This also gives them a reason to replay the levels if they don’t manage to win all of them within the time limit. The time limit is pretty slim for the last few levels as well - you will need to complete the arrangements in 90 seconds.
