Classic Klondike Solitaire takes the traditional rules and puts them into an environment where you’ll feel as though you can’t stop playing. Although at first glance the game may seem pretty standard, that’s far from the truth. Yes, it doesn’t have any special mechanics or fancy changes that make it more convenient. But that doesn’t matter, the game is extremely addictive and you will find yourself playing round after round.

Why is the game so addicting then? In this version of the game, you aren’t just playing on a classic gameboard. The game has a very casino-esque aesthetic that makes you forget about the time and gets you thinking only about doing better and better. The background makes you feel as though you’re in a casino, trying to beat the fastest time so that you can get the jackpot. The card design also shares these features – the cards all look fancy and glamorous.

How do you win at Classic Klondike Solitaire?

The game doesn’t have any special win conditions. You beat it by building up your Foundations with cards from the 4 suits in ascending order. What really triggers you to keep playing, even after you win, is the timer. Most Klondike games put the timer out of the way, somewhere where it won’t bother you. In this version of Klondike, it’s right in your face. Every time you add cards to the Foundation you see how much time you’ve elapsed. That makes you want to beat your previous time over and over.

Klondike Solitaire is a very fun game, and you will find yourself playing this version of the game over and over again.
