Christmas is a family holiday – you stay at home, enjoy the view and in general relax. During that time of the year, everything takes on a Christmassy theme. There are pictures of Santa and his elves plastered everywhere, snowflakes become a norm, and you can see deer and presents all over the place. In the past few years, Christmas games have also become a part of the holiday spirit.

And FreeCell is no exception to that!

FreeCell Christmas game board

FreeCell Solitaire Christmas is a holiday-themed spin on the classic FreeCell game. The classic background is replaced with a snowy paradise with a gingerbread house. The cards’ images also take Christmas quite seriously! The Ace becomes a snowflake, King is now Santa, the Queen becomes a Christmas tree, and Jack is now a reindeer.

FreeCell Christmas uses the classic FreeCell rules – you have a 52-card deck, and you have to build up 4 HomeCells going from Ace to King. Well, in this instance you go from Snowflake to Santa! The game has an Undo button which you can use to rewind your moves as much as you want to. There’s also no time limit, so you can plan your moves as much as you want.

Christmas is a great time to enjoy some free online games like FreeCell Christmas. The game rewards you for being a good strategist and planning ahead, and with the holidays giving you more free time you can become a real master at it!
