Mahjong Classic offers the opportunity to play the traditional gameboard while having some additional help if you’re having a hard time. The game features no scoring system, with your time being the only parameter you can improve.

Mahjong Classic Arrangement

There are a few helpful mechanics that you can use. There’s no penalty to taking advantage of them, so if you get stuck, there’s no reason not to give yourself a better platform to win faster.
The game also features a menu that shows how many matches you have available currently on the board.

How to Play

To match tiles in Mahjong Classic, they must be considered open for play. You have to be able to move them to their left or their right, and there need to be no other tiles covering them.

Mahjong Classic Tracking

Your best bet for finding matches is by looking at the outermost rows and columns of the different levels in the gameboard. You can also track how many tile marches are available on the top of your screen.
A good piece of strategy is to try and remove the topmost tiles as quickly as you can. By doing that, you open up more potential moves.

Helpful buttons

Although Mahjong Classic doesn’t feature a score you’re trying to beat, you can still improve your time from game to game. There are several helpful mechanics that you can use in instances where you feel stuck and don’t want to spend too much time in the same place.

Mahjong Classic Help

If there aren’t any available tile matches left, the game will automatically make you shuffle the board. You can also use the Shuffle button to mix the arrangement up at any time. Additionally, there is a Hint button that you can use that will show you a pair of identical tiles that you can match. You’re also free to Undo moves.
