Mahjong Quest also features a ranking system for its level. Each level has a set time limit that you must beat to win the level. Depending on which time limit you manage to beat, you can get a gold, silver, or bronze medal.

Why are these medals important? Depending on how well you do on a certain level, you get bonus tokens you can use for the game’s different features. You also get rewarded with in-game currency with which you can buy said tokens as well. These tokens are used for features such as undoing a move, shuffling the board, or highlighting all available tiles.
