Among Us Mahjong is a challenging Mahjong game, which uses tiles and gameplay elements inspired by the popular mobile game Among Us. There are multiple game modes you can play, with the difference between them being the difficulty.

Among Us Gameboard

The game also features a timer that gives you bonus points for matching tiles quickly, rewarding you for good analytical skills. Among Us Mahjong is a bit more challenging than classic Mahjong as you can also run out of combinations and can’t shuffle, so you need to plan your moves on how to open up more plays.

Pick Your Difficulty

Among Us Levels

The game features three difficulties, each with two tile arrangements you can play. That gives you six tile arrangements you can choose between, with each one having a different winning strategy. Just because you’ve picked the easy game mode doesn’t mean you’ll have an easy time. Unlike most Mahjong games, in Among Us Mahjong, you can’t shuffle the board, and you can run out of moves. If you run out of moves, then that’s it - game over. It’s crucial to plan ahead when making moves.

Another unique thing about the game is how it uses the Among Us theme. In each round, there are tiles with “Imposters” that don’t have an identical match. Instead, you have to figure out which tile is the “Imposter” supposed to be and then match him with that tile.

Among Us Bonus Points Timer

You also get bonus points for quickly making matches. There’s a timer above the tile arrangement, which gives you a certain amount of time between moves. If you make another move before that time runs out, you get some bonus points to your final score. You should be careful, as making moves quickly doesn’t always guarantee a high score; you may end up running out of moves.
