If you’re looking for a relaxing version of Mahjong, then you should try Jungle Mahjong Deluxe. The game is laid-back, has easy challenges, and uses an adventure-style level system. You can easily kill some time by playing this version of the game while still getting a sense of accomplishment by progressing through the levels.

Jungle Mahjong Deluxe Levels

There are also some helpful mechanics that you can use if you get stuck at some point, and the rules of the game are fairly straightforward. You can also jump to a specific level if you’ve already unlocked it.

Matching the Tiles

Jungle Mahjong Deluxe has slightly different requirements for matching tiles than the traditional game. To remove pieces from the board, you need to match two identical tiles that have at least two adjacent sides open. The easiest way to find out which tiles are available for play is to look for pieces that you can move diagonally.

Jungle Mahjong Deluxe Time

Each level has a time limit, with the later levels having more time available, as you need to match a higher number of tiles. Levels generally get more challenging as you progress, and you have to solve multiple board arrangements during your playthrough.

The game has 15 levels in total, so it can last you an entire afternoon!

Don’t Worry if You’re Stuck

If you’re unable to find any matches on the board, the game has some helpful tools - a “Hint” button that will instantly show you any available matches.

Jungle Mahjong Deluxe Hint

You can use the button as much as you want, as it doesn’t have a limited number of charges nor a penalty for using it. The unlimited use of the “Hint” mechanic combined with the simple board arrangements and easy-to-beat time limits make Jungle Mahjong Deluxe a great choice for killing some time!
