Connecting the Tiles

There are specific requirements for you to be able to connect matching tiles in the game. To do so, you need to be able to draw a line between them, with the line being limited to only making 3 turns. This means that if the tiles are on the opposite side of the board, you can’t connect them.

Another challenging mechanic in Magic Wand is the time limit. Every level has a time limit that determines your final score. The more time you have left, the more stars you earn for your performance. Every time you connect more than two pairs of identical in a row, you get bonus time. The key is to match as many tiles as fast as possible in order to keep your time limit high.

If you end up with no time left, you can’t progress to the next level.

What makes Mahjong Connect Magic Wand unique is the game’s helpful tool – the Magic Wand. You have 3 charges of this feature on every level. Every time that you use it, two matching tiles are removed from the board.

Using this tool wisely is essential, as you don’t want to waste the charges at the beginning of the level and end up stuck later. Plan your moves quickly and effectively, and save the tool for whenever you’re struggling.
