Tic Tac Toe Paper Note is a competitive Tic Tac Toe game where you face up against a friend or a computer in a set of games. You can choose your set to be whoever first wins 3, 5, or 10 games.

Tic Tac Toe Paper Note Start

This version of the game uses the classic 3×3 grid to let you face off against your competitor. The design is made to inspire the feeling of playing on a piece of paper with a pencil.

Think ahead to win

Before you even start playing, you choose what type of game mode you want to play. You choose whether you play until one of you wins 3 games, 5 games, or 10. Additionally, you can choose to play versus the computer, or you can choose to play against a friend.

If you’re playing against the computer, you will get the first move. The first move gives you a huge advantage, as it gives you an “extra move”, as there are only 9 spaces on the board. Because of that, whoever goes first gets to place 5 symbols.

Set up traps

A lot of people’s first instinct in Tic Tac Toe is to place their first move in the center of the grid. While there are no wrong moves in the game, starting in the center can be detrimental to you, as it’s easier to block you in that sequence. A good tip is to start with the corners, and if possible, keep using the corners to set up a trap where you have more than one available game-winning move.

Whenever you go second, the center is your friend, as if the first player doesn’t start there, you can block potential moves by placing a symbol there.

A lot of games of Tic Tac Toe will end up in a draw, but don’t let that discourage you. Instead, when you win a game, the triumph should be that much sweeter.
